Industrial-size 3D printers for very large parts
Our industrial size class covers FDM printers for parts beyond the usual large-format range, without rigid minimums on all three axes. Compare your oriented part with the actual build volume, then allow room to install and operate the machine. The size label does not certify industrial performance.
Do you need the part in one print?
Measure the part after orienting it in your slicer and leave room for supports and a brim. If it can be split and assembled, compare the cost, space and time of a large printer around the 50 cm class before moving to a much bigger machine. “Industrial” is a browsing size class here, not a certification for continuous-duty operation.
A model that shows the size jump
The ELEGOO OrangeStorm Giga lists an 800 × 800 × 1000 mm build volume. It is clearly larger than the 420–500 mm large-format models in this catalog. The manufacturer separates machine size from maximum operating space: 1224 × 1520 × 1570 mm. It also lists a 104 kg net weight. View our OrangeStorm Giga profile for limitations and the official store link.

Check the whole project before buying
- Access and installation: measure doorways, the delivery route and floor space; build volume is not the machine footprint.
- Power and materials: ELEGOO specifies 1530 W for one printhead and lists PLA, PETG and TPU compatibility. Check the circuit and your material against the official product page.
- Consumption and post-processing: estimate the amount of filament and print time for the part; a small spool may not cover the job.
- Freight and support: confirm the variant, delivery, stock and service terms with the seller before placing an order at this scale.
If your part fits within 500 × 500 × 500 mm, compare the Sovol SV08 Max first. Each model has its own URL; we show an Amazon CTA only when an exact offer has been checked for the market.
